These Terms govern your access to and use of Reflct, accessible at reflct.io. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date above, at least 14 days before they take effect. Reflct cannot send email, so this page is the notice.

Reflct is a communication assistant for work conversations. You record on your own Mac, transcription happens on that Mac, and when you choose to send a transcript we store it and analyse it. Audio never reaches us.

The analysis reports a small number of measures with the evidence behind each one. It is deliberately fewer than we compute: some measures are withheld because the transcription cannot yet carry what they depend on, and we would rather show you nothing than a number we cannot stand behind. What is shown, and what is withheld, changes as the measurements improve.

The Service is for personal professional development only. It is not career counselling, not a hiring or assessment tool, and not regulated advice. Nothing it reports is a judgement of your ability.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Before submitting any transcript or recording you must ensure all parties have given explicit informed consent to be recorded and to have that content processed by an AI system. In Germany and most EU countries, recording a conversation without all parties' consent is a criminal offence under §201 StGB. Safe alternatives include:

• Mock interviews
• Self-written transcripts
• Platform-generated transcripts where participants were notified

By submitting content you confirm all parties have consented.

You may not:

• Submit recordings obtained without consent
• Upload third-party personal data without consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing product
• Use automated scripts to access the Service

• Reflct is free. There are no tiers, no subscriptions and no paid features.
• There is no billing of any kind: no payment processor, no card details, and nothing to cancel
• Because it is free, there is no service level and no uptime promise. We may change, limit or withdraw the Service.
• If a price is ever introduced it will not apply retroactively, and it will be announced here first

You retain ownership of your submitted content. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. We will never use your content to train AI models without explicit opt-in consent.

The Service is provided as-is. AI feedback is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee improved interview performance or employment outcomes.

The Service is free, so there are no amounts paid against which to measure a cap: our total liability shall not exceed €50. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

These Terms are governed by German law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Berlin. EU consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of residence. EU Online Dispute Resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
